About Us

Fish Welfare Initiative India Foundation (FWI IF) is an Indian non-profit organisation working to improve the livelihoods of fish farming communities across India.

We partner with farmers, local government, and fisheries extension officers to address the practical challenges of pond aquaculture, including disease prevention, water quality management, and access to technical knowledge. Our work is grounded in the belief that healthier ponds mean more resilient livelihoods.

We are registered under the Companies Act, 2013, and operate independently as an Indian entity with a locally embedded team.
